Book of spells i
poetry to educate the witch
Written from Halloween in one year, to the halloween in the following year, this series is a collection of learnings, poems, and wisdoms that I discovered and received within that ward.
the first book of the series aims to offer educational standpoints on witchcraft, and warding specifically. there’s talk about ancestral deconstruction and war, as that was one of my main focuses this year of writing. I also cover warding techniques, as well as other logic and rhetoric when it comes to spelling.
there’s room on most pages to work with writing out your own realizations (the margins are big on lots of the pages).
this year of writing was also very dark, as i was moving thorugh a lot of shadows, grief, war, and other understandings in the art of shadow work. I still had not consecrated my initiation, so you get a glimpse into what priestesshood can really cost as well. It’s a beautiful work, and makes the shadows look more whimsical than sometimes they really are- offering tools, companionship, and comradary if you yourself are going through a dark time with your magick.
